Rockdale City have announced a coup with the signing of Panny Nikas for next season.

The Suns have signed the 30-year-old midfielder from Sydney United 58 after Nikas enjoyed four successful seasons at Edensor.
Nikas, who played A-League football with the Central Coast and North Queensland, is one of a number of signings for Rockdale’s 2019 campaign.
The Sans Souci junior enjoyed three stints at Rockdale’s local rivals Sutherland and joins along with Josh Da Silva, who has also left the shire for the Suns.
Rockdale have also re-signed goalkeeper David Bradasevic who spent a year away from the club at Bonnyrigg.
Versatile defender Leigh Egger and consistent midfielder Sasa Macura have joined from Manly United.
Rockdale junior Matthew Lecce has also rejoined the club after a spell at Parramatta with Western Sydney Wanderers.
Alex Malfara and Jake Trajkovski have been promoted to Rockdale's first team squad from the youth team, while vice-captain Steve Hesketh will leave the Suns and return home to Perth.
Rockdale endured an up and down season in 2018.
A slow start was followed by a strong comeback with the Suns scraping into the top five. They won their first elimination final before they were knocked out after suffering an 8-2 hammering at the hands of APIA Leichhardt.
Rockdale also reached the FFA Cup round of 32 where they were beaten by A-League heavyweights Sydney FC.
