Zac Lomax has starred for the Prime Minister’s XIII, helping the Australian representative side to a 34-16 win over Papua New Guinea on Saturday.
Lomax impressed alongside Dragons teammates Tyson Frizell, Ben Hunt and fellow young gun Reece Robson.
Sharks halfback Chad Townsend also scored a late try for the PM’s XIII, with fellow Cronulla players Aaron Woods, Matt Prior and Jesse Ramien also featuring.
The players had to avoid a pitch invasion in Port Moresby which brought the match to an abrupt halt midway through the first half as almost half of the 14,007 spectators poured onto the field.
The 10-minute delay was believed to be caused by a group of fans who thought a light tower in one corner of the field was about to collapse.
Hunt, Frizell and Woods will back up for Australia alongside Valentine Holmes when they take on New Zealand in a Test match in Auckland on Saturday.
