Police are seeking public assistance to find a man who allegedly filmed up a woman’s skirt after alighting from a Cronulla train.

They released a photo of the man they wish to talk to about the alleged incident at Redfern station a month ago.

A police statement said the train was “from Woolooware”. It was not clear whether the man or woman, or both, boarded at that station.

”About 12.30pm on Friday, September 7, a man got off a train from Woolooware at Redfern Railway Station and walked onto the escalators directly behind a woman.

“The man allegedly began filming up her skirt.

“As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man that may be able to assist with inquiries.

“He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 183cm tall, aged in his 30s or 40s, with short facial hair.”
