But before Stuie French and Camille Te Nahu relocate stateside in early 2019, they want to farewell their friends and fans in the Sutherland Shire with a show at the Brass Monkey on Friday, October 26.
‘‘We’ve recently returned from a month in USA where we performed in Austin and then the Caribbean,” Camille said.
‘‘And just last week we were on Cruisin’ Country 8 which is a Country-themed week-long cruise - kind of like Tamworth Country Music festival on the high seas!
‘‘We rarely perform locally so we wanted to do a local show before we head off to the USA.’’
In 2017 Stuie won a Golden Guitar Award for Best Instrumental Album (Axe to Swing) and he was recently invited to teach guitar alongside Tommy Emmanuel at Tommy’s Sydney Guitar Camp.
Stuie and Camille have had two of their songs (Gone For All Money and Pretty Katalina) featured on the Channel 7 drama A Place to Call Home.
Camille also featured on New Zealand television this year with a full episode of her musical life on Unsung Heroes of Maori Music.
Camille and Stuie’s 11-year-old son, Sonny, will open the show for them.
Last month he appeared on the television show Little Big Shots on the Seven Network.
