Temporary closure of Acacia Road north at Kirrawee

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions at Kirrawee, with access to Acacia Road north of the Princes Highway intersection closed to traffic from next week.

Access to this section of Acacia Road is currently only available via a turning lane from the Old Princes Highway. This will be closed from Monday, November 12 for nine months, weather permitting.

Motorists can continue to access the road from Auburn and Clio Streets, or Oak Road and Waratah Street.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times, although temporary detours may be in place.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays, and between 8am and 6pm on Saturday. Night work hours will be between 7pm and 7am from Sunday to Friday.

Electronic message signs will be in place to advise motorists of the change. Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of all signs.
