Solid fundraising efforts in IMB Bank Community Cook Classic 2018

The IMB Bank Community Cook Classic raffle draw on December 1 wrapped up with an impressive amount raised.

The raffle is the main fundraising arm of the Cook Classic. To date since its inception in 2008 it has raised more than $720,000 for community groups.

The charities and community organisations supported through the Cook Classic are run by dedicated staff, and volunteers.

Prime Minister and Cook MP, Scott Morrison, said he was pleased to serve once again as patron at the event.

“I thank all of those involved to make the event possible especially the generous support of our local surf lifesaving clubs Cronulla, North Cronulla, Elouera and Wanda for their willingness to support the wider community,” he said.

“I extend my gratitude to all of the corporate sponsors, particularly IMB Bank who have been with the classic since its inception and are once again the major sponsor. I thank them for their continued support.”
