Cronulla’s interim head coach John Morris is already putting his stamp on the club.
Morris instigated a full club training session with all Sharks players from under-16s to under-18s, the Sharks Tarsha Gale girls, Jersey Flegg and NRL squads training together at Cronulla High School on Tuesday.
There were plenty of laughs and smiles as the club’s first grade stars mingled with, talked to and played with and against their next generation.
On this evidence, with Morris, the club will be in good hands if Shane Flanagan’s suspension is upheld.
Cronulla face Manly in their first pre-season trial at Brookvale Oval on February 23.
They then travel to Maitland to face Newcastle in their final pre-season hit out on March 2.
The Sharks return to the Hunter Valley to open their NRL campaign against the Knights in Newcastle on March 15.
