A man, who is disqualified from driving until 2031, will appear in court today after hitting two parked cars and returning an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.177 at Bexley yesterday.
About 1.30pm yesterday, a Subaru was travelling on Commemarra Street, Bexley, when it hit two parked cars and a tree.
The driver, a 68-year-old man, tried to leave the area but was stopped by members of the public.
All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene and there were no reports of injury.
The driver returned a positive roadside breath test and was taken to Kogarah Police Station where he returned an alleged reading of 0.177.
He was charged with negligent driving, high range PCA, drive whilst disqualified and driving a motor vehicle with no interlock device (Driver's Licence Condition).
The Bexley man was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
