I read the article ''F6 given a rev-up'' (Leader, February 27).
It seems government authorities are keen to see many local residents lose their homes to a new motorway.
They also want to see the loss of many playing fields and the loss of many of our last green, recreational open spaces to a noisy, polluting motorway that will physically divide communities.
Apparently they can't wait to see local motorists paying exorbitant tolls every time they travel on this new and costly F6 motorway.
Local residents can also look forward to construction chaos over many years with increased heavy vehicles clogging our existing roads, and many more vehicles pouring onto the same roads as each stage of the motorway to nowhere is completed.
Many residents are unaware that they will be subjected to heavily polluting smoke stacks from the motorway tunnels.
The same government authorities now wanting and ''F6 rev-up'' have over many years encouraged and promoted the over-population of Sydney that has resulted in our congested roads.
