Fiver golfers from The Ridge Golf Club have qualified for the Volkswagen Scramble Championship Final in May.
The quintet of PGA professional Gary Booby and amateurs Adam Confoy, Steven Messervy, Mark DeMontfot and Tim Holt will travel to the Sunshine Coast after taking out the regional final at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club on Monday.
The team from The Ridge combined for a score of 55.4 which was enough to see them advance to the final to be played at Twin Waters Golf Club.
Only 28 teams qualify for the final after 8,750 started the competition. More than 30,000 players took part in this year's tournament across 420 events.
Booby said the team was thrilled to be heading to the final in the competition's 27th season.
"The Volkswagen Scramble is always one of the most highly anticipated events on our club calendar and we are ecstatic that The Ridge Golf Club is going to be represented at the championship final," he said.
"We can't wait to get to the Sunshine Coast. The last championship final I attended was 10 years ago. I can't wait to see how much it's changed in the last decade."
