Shire Christian School was brimming with visitors this week, as prospective school parents went on a tour of the school where they explored the facilities and opportunities on offer and had the chance to hear from the school leadership about the vision to partner with parents in Christian education.
The independent, co-education Christian school has seen strong enrolment interest in recent years, and though achieving excellent HSC results, Principal Brett Hartley said it is the caring community that continues to attract so many families.
"Our school is a warm, relational Christian community where we desire for every student to feel they belong," Mr Hartley said.

Children have the opportunity to be nurtured from pre-kindergarten through to Year 12 at Shire Christian School and learn and achieve best when they feel emotionally safe and supported.
"This sense of belonging gives students the confidence to explore their creativity and curiosity, develop their critical thinking skills and achieve great academic outcomes," he said.
After enrolling their four children into the Junior School at the start of this year, the Seaton family have been "blown away" by the warmth and support they have already felt from the school community.
"The early attention to assessing and orienting new students so they weren't left floundering, the initiative being taken to progress them, and the extension classes have been impressive," Mr Seaton said.
Confident and relaxed about his children being at the school, Mr Seaton said they were "happy and engaged".
"That goes to what they're being taught, how they're being taught, the care they receive, and the supportive student culture that's evident," Mr Seaton said.
The school believes that children are born with a variety of talents and abilities and therefore has implemented stimulating and academically rigorous programs, and also provides meaningful, targeted support for students who may struggle in particular areas of their learning.
Shire Christian School provides exciting opportunities for students to develop skills in sport and creative endeavours such as music, art, technology and drama.
The next group tour of Shire Christian School is on Thursday, May 30 and bookings can be made via the school website.
