Team time: Endeavour students work on some challenging tasks at a STEM day at ANSTO.
Endeavour Sports High School excelled in a recent STEM challenge, held at ANSTO, Lucas Heights.
Year 9 and 10 students competed against other schools in Sydney, in a challenge designed to test teamwork, construction, coding, mathematics and problem solving.
Of the eight challenges attempted on the day, Endeavour performed solidly, gaining top three places in five of the tasks. The school finished in second place overall, and the best performing Sutherland Shire school.
The next STEM challenge will be held at Wollongong uni, and students are hoping to qualify for a national final later this year.
