In St George's biggest show of support, hundreds of veterans, their families and supporters attended the Ramsgate RSL commemorative Anzac Day march from the the Sans Souci Literary Institute to the Ramsgate RSL Memorial.
The march has long been the centrepiece of Anzac Day in St George on our national day of remembrance.
It is an opportunity for veterans, current service men and women and the general public to pay their respects to those who have served our country.
More than 1000 people attended the Anzac Day memorial service at the club, spilling out onto the streets to listen to the address that marked the 104th anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand soldiers as part of the Allied assault on the Turkish Peninsula.
