She's just been crowned Miss Teen Galaxy Australia, and now this schoolgirl from Oyster Bay is ready for her next venture.
After her national win at the Gold Coast in May, Tiana Meehan, 16, will this year dedicate her time to working alongside charities - a project she hopes to tackle before she represents Australia in the US in August in the international final of the pageant.
Those charities includeGear Up Girl - a fundraiser for the Heart Foundation, Sarah Beer's cystic fibrosis fundraiser, Darkness Into Light Walk at Bondi, which raises money for Pieta House and awareness for suicide and self-harm, Mother's Day Classic for breast cancer research, and Million Paws RSPCA - fight against animal cruelty.
She has also raised more than $700 for Make a Wish Foundation.
Tiana is also a dancer and hopes to leap into a performing arts career.
In 2018 she was offered a scholarship to attend the Joffrey Ballet Summer School in New York. She successfully auditioned and gained entry into The Rockettes Summer Intensive Program.
