Participants of the Kingsgrove Community Aid Centre Living Skills Disability program love to cook up a storm.
On "cooking days" staff member Diana leads the class by bringing together her knowledge and love of food to help the group's members create something special.
The benefits of such group activity are evident from the big smiles on their faces.
Member Peter says: "I just love everything I get to do at the centre. All the activities are great, but I especially love cooking days because all the food we make is delicious. Today we made curried sausages with veggies and rice.
"Coming to this group each week helps me feel like I belong and am a part of something and I have made many new friends.

The hands-on involvement of activities such as cooking days helps to expand the group's living skills, says centre CEO Anne Farah-Hill.
"Kingsgrove Community Aid Centre is a safe place where people with a disability can come and join in activities in an inclusive, nurturing, enabling and accessible environment," Ms Farah-Hill said.
"The program helps people with disabilities learn to become independent.
"The centre is a place where people can feel that they belong and where friendships are made.
"It is a part of our core work as a community organisation to bring people together and help them to feel less isolated in the community."
