A Bexley truck driver was caught behind the wheel of his truck on a disqualified licence and was on drugs, police say.
At about 8.40am on July 9, a 13 tonne concrete pump was stopped on Oxford Street, Woollahra, heading to a building site at Bondi.
The male driver, 45, failed to produce a licence and underwent alcohol and drug testing.
His was found to be already disqualified from driving, until May 13, 2020.
He also returned a positive roadside drug test and was taken to Waverley Police Station for secondary testing. These results returned a positive result for Methamphetamines.
He was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on August 9 for driving while disqualified - second offence.
Further action will be taken pending the laboratory results of the drug test.
