In a nod to Sydney's best winter festival, two former Vivid Sydney exhibitors are presenting works at South Village.
The installations by Firefly Lighting and Amigo & Amigo continue the centre's passion for interesting art as it plays out against the backdrop of the Mulga murals already created throughout the centre as permanent displays.
They also follow the recent exhibition of giant illuminated jellyfish Crank Zappa made from recycled ocean plastics.
Thee latest exhibition art sees several illuminated art installations on display at the centre from this month.
LED neon illuminated kites by Firefly Lighting, titled Luminous Flight, are floating above people's heads throughout the centre, while Amigo & Amigo have hijacked the mall with a series of giant colourful mushrooms in all shapes and sizes popping up in unexpected places.
''These art pieces enhance the sense of joy and excitement we hope to provide to our customers and guests'', said centre manager Alex Perryman.
The mushrooms are only around until August 25 and the Luminous Flight installation is on display until the end of September.
A new neon Putt Putt course will pop into the centre for more amusement in late August.
