Music that celebrates cultural diversity is bringing a rhythmic wave of fun to Hurstville.
Children's entertainers Avocado Smash are the new kids on the block in kids' performing arts, and will serve up a fresh and zesty show.
The talented trio of 20-somethings are all about focusing on the celebration of food, and how it unites modern families.
Along the way kids will meet new friends Tata the Tiger from Sumatra and Olchaeng-i the Tadpole from Korea, and learn about how cultures across the globe enjoy delicious delicacies.
Woven into the story is a celebration of world music, from classical, West African, Indonesian, Quella and blues, topped off with languages and witty rhymes.
For the first time, Georges River Council is partnering with Sydney Fringe Festival to bring a hub of performing arts to Hurstville.
The show is ideal for children up to seven years of age - or those who are young at heart.
The Avocado Smash show is at 2pm on September 29.
