Students cast in this year's School of Rock have wowed audiences at the Hordern Pavillion.
Gymea's Asha Rostron, 12, Hurstville Grove's Avaleigh Rock, 11, and Sans Souci's Zoe Zantey, were part of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning musical in August.
Sarah Petrovski, 12, of Peakhurst was also part of the show.
The young stars performed 'Teacher's Pet' with a band.
Based on the hit film, the musical follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
One of the performers, Zoe, hopes to study at a performing arts high school. She has been dancing from age three and attended Mary Geer Dance School at Beverly Hills, where she learnt the basics of ballet. She then went to All Starz Performing Arts School at Peakhurst from ages four to eight, and started training in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop and musical theatre, plus performed in eisteddfods. She also started singing lessons in 2014 and performed her first solo concert at the age of five.
Zoe toured the US with All stars in 2016 and performed in Universal Studios and Disneyland. She currently attends Joanne Williamson Performing Arts School, where she also does acrobatics and gym. Last year she was selected to perform in Opera Australia's Evita starring Tina Arena - a highlight of her budding career.
