St George Police is urgently calling for witnesses and dashcam footage that may help them in their investigations of a double fatality at Peakhurst earlier this month.
On Sunday, September 8, two people on a single motorcycle were killed on Forest Road.
The incident occurred shortly after 11am. The motorcycle hit a pole as it approached a bend.
A male rider, 32, and his female passenger, 22, died at the scene. A funeral was held on Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing but police say they have no substantial leads and they are calling on the community's help.
St George Police Senior Constable Regan Burnett says police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time, in the hope the call-out for witnesses could help jog someone's memory.
"We know there were cars driving through that hadn't stopped," he said. "We don't think any other vehicles were involved but it's difficult to say what caused it. We've had some general witnesses but we are still investigating."
Anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Senior Constable Regan Burnett at St George Police on 8566 7499.
