Hear it loud and clear, these students are singing a high note.
Engadine High School's advanced vocal ensemble has marked quite a few successes leading into the end of another HSC year in 2019.
Three year 12 students from the ensemble have received Encore nominations for their outstanding HSC performance pieces.
The entire ensemble has performed as a featured act for the Opera House Bennelong Choral Concert Series, for the Metropolitan South Operational Directorate Awards, The Australian Council for Educational Leaders of NSW Awards and privately for the Minister of Education earlier this year.
Other younger students in the ensemble also have some big shoes to fill, but if talent has anything to go by, they are well on their way.
Year 9 student Olivia Coggan, the daughter of award winning country artist Darren Coggan, has performed with Kasey Chambers.
Ava Crewes, who is in year 7, is starring in Rockdale Town Hall's The Lion King and has previous featured as a soloist in Schools Spectacular.
