The St George district and Sutherland Shire will be well represented after the board of Football NSW declared its leagues for the 2020 season, confirming the clubs that will play in the new structure put in place for men's and boy's football.
A new fourth-tier NPL 4 competition will include A-League club Newcastle Jets, while Hurstville City Minotaurs have missed out completely.
Sutherland Sharks and Rockdale City remain in NPL 1, with St George City FA and St George FC remaining in NPL 2. Hurstville FC will play in NPL 4.
Football NSW also announced a 24-team NPL 1 boys under-13s to 16s youth competition that will feature Sutherland, Rockdale City, St George City FA and St George FC. Hurstville FC are in NPL youth 2 alongside Newcastle Jets youth.
Sutherland Shire FA and St George FC will have first grade, reserve grade and under-14s, 15s and 17s teams playing in the women's NPL 2 competition.
