The Kareela restaurant underwent an extension and renovation in recent weeks and relaunched on October 9.
Brooke Jensen - Jensens Group co-owner and wife of Executive Chef Carl Jensen - said the new space represents the evolution of the restaurant which opened in 2017.
''We are, coming into our 3rd Summer at Jensens and already we are in a newly designed and much bigger restaurant,'' Brooke said.
''What an achievement from a little restaurant in the Kareela Village!
''Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined this small restaurant could grow into the biggest restaurant in the southern suburbs!''
Brooke said she and Carl, who in 2005 fulfilled his dream of opening a beachside restaurant when Summer Salt was launched in the Elouera Surf Club, could not be prouder of the new Jensens.
''The design and furnishings are absolutely stunning and the separate dining areas offer something to please everyone,'' she said.
''We have expanded in size but with individual dining spaces within, creating an intimate dining experience throughout.''
''We are constantly striving to grow, improve and bring you the best food and cocktails in the shire and now you can enjoy them in our beautifully designed new venue.''
In the first week following the relaunch party the new Jensens served more than 1400 people.
Brooke said key features of the new-look restaurant are the bar, atrium, laneway and private dining room.
THE JENSENS BAR
''A huge part of our design was to have a large island bar at the centre of the restaurant and we just love it. What used to be seen as the next best thing, being seated at the bar is now often the first preference for our customers. We can now seat up to 20 people dining at the bar, so if you are after a casual dining experience interacting with our cocktail bartenders then this is the place to sit.''
THE ATRIUM
''Greeting you as you enter is our gorgeous white atrium with large windows that open to allow natural light and fresh air thoughtout the restaurant.''
THE LANEWAY
''Running along the side wall is the Jensens laneway for dark and intimate dining. Partially separated with our signature breeze blocks, this area is designed for couples wanting to escape the crowds or large groups.''
THE CELLAR PRIVATE DINING ROOM
''The Cellar Private Dining Room, is grand and luxurious with carpet floors, bespoke lighting, draped curtains, designer furniture & audio visual equipment. The fully enclosed room can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests with a private waiter and your own bar. This room is perfect for celebrating a major milestone, corporate event or for those who wish to celebrate privately and away from other diners.''
