Nearly 200 walkers joined the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge Walk for medical research on Saturday November 2 and walked more than 30km on one of the most spectacular coastal walking tracks in Sydney.

The Challenge launched with a light breakfast and safety check at Tradies Helensburgh before setting off from Otford lookout.
The walkers were treated to gourmet sandwiches, fruit and gelato for lunch as well as snacks and lollies on the way to keep the energy levels up.
AFS first aid were on hand for all safety needs.
The day ended at Bundeena RSL with a celebration for all walkers and volunteers.
Not only were the walkers thankful for the massages and drinks on offer but they were also celebrating their support of local medical research that will save lives.
Mick Davies from Wollongong summed up the sentiments of many of the walkers on the day.
"Bouquet, bouquet and more bouquets to the organisers of the Micheal Tynan Memorial Walk," Mr Davies told the Leader.
"The support provided by mainly volunteers was second to none.
"A big thanks to all the sponsors for their support. While the Coastal Walk is somewhat arduous in places, the views are second to none.
"Thank you once again to the Tynan Family and others for such a rewarding day."
The Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge supports SSMRF and UOW medical research.
This charity event, now in its 4th year, has many local and high profile sponsors and supporters including the Prime Minister The Hon Scott Morrison MP who is a Parliamentary Patron and Ambassadors Andrew Scipione and Cronulla Sharks great Luke Lewis.
The Tynan family and Tynan Motors employees joined the walking team in force along with committed walk supporters such as Optus, St.George Bank, Kareela Grocers, Transdev, Carsales, Cliff Lewis Printing, Novotel Wollongong Northbeach, Wave FM, WIN TV, ANSTO, AFS, Kollaras Group, Suzuki, Black Forest Smokehouse, Cronulla Ferries, Sutherland Shire Council and Australian Community Media joined new comers such as Austbrokers SPT, Tradies Helensburgh, Shire Women, Jamie Carroll Hair & Beauty and more.
