Sutherland design and branding studio Creatik collected two awards at the DRIVENXDESIGN 2019 Sydney Design Awards ceremony held last month.
The first of two silver awards was for the packaging design for Paris Creek Farms - a South Australian biodynamic organic dairy.
Kylie Gould, Creatik founder and creative director said the client, Longtable Group, asked the shire studio to create a distinct new brand after they purchased Paris Creek Farm.
"It's an excellent product - already a regional icon - with a strong reputation for quality and taste.
"What the brand needed was an identity and packaging design to set them apart in a saturated market and firmly position them in the premium food sector."
Gould said her studio helped Paris Creek Farms extend their reach from local to national supermarket shelves.
"Making the leap from much loved, local craft produce; to a premium range of award-winning dairy products available nationally."
Creatik's second silver award was for the packaging design for Kissed Earth - a new range of collagen supplements from celebrity and wellness expert Rachael Finch.
"They came to us with a great product and big ambitions to build their brand," Gould said.
"Our brief was simple, develop the Kissed Earth brand and packaging.
"The challenge was how to cut through an intensely competitive category; and how to drive preference with quality-conscious health consumers."
Gould said the small shire studio strives for design excellence "in everything we do".
"It's been a true team effort and everyone in our studio work worked with great passion," she said.
"When you partner with ambitious clients with a genuinely great product, who really know their stuff - it's an absolute pleasure. The creativity just flows. We're super proud of the brands we created."
