This week White Horse Coffee launched their new Limited Release Coffee Pods and throughout the month of November are donating $5 to The St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre from every bag of pods sold.
White Horse Coffee have been raising money for the Cancer Care Centre every November for the past 10 years. The Centre provides a cancer service for both inpatients and outpatients offering medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology, allied health and supportive care services as well as palliative care services at the St George Hospital.
White Horse Coffee was founded by Matty Ristretto and former Australian barista champion Dominic Majdandzic. They have planted their business firmly in the Sutherland Shire with cafes and coffee roastery that supplies fresh roasted coffee to cafes across Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
"We want to raise awareness for cancer and the incredible service provided by The St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre. We've had numerous customers share with us that they or a family member have suffered from cancer and have been cared for by The St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre. So it's close to home for us and it's a privilege to offer our support," Mr Majdandzic said.
Matty Ristretto said It's important for us as a local company to give to worthy causes. And this is what we love about being part of a tight-knit community. We have to look out for each other.
The pods can be purchased at local cafes and select stores who serve White Horse Coffee. Inside the pods is fresh roasted specialty grade coffee sourced directly from Brazil, Africa & Central America.
