The Australian racked up a season-high 11 assists to go with his 10 points in just 26 minutes on court.
Philadelphia (8-5) had lost five of their past seven going into the game, including consecutive losses in Orlando and Oklahoma City.
Cleveland (4-8) almost pulled off an upset in Philadelphia last week before falling 98-97.
But the 76ers quickly squashed any hope of a repeat in Cleveland on Sunday as they shredded the Cavaliers' defence with 33 assists on 46 baskets.
Forward Tobias Harris led the scoring for the 76ers with 27 points and Joel Embiid added 14, while Simmons and three other teammates were also in double figures.
Collin Sexton led the hosts with 17 points, while Jordan Clarkson added 15 for the Cavaliers, who have dropped three in a row.
Boston Celtics' winning streak of 10 came to an end as Sacramento Kings recorded a 100-99 win.
Buddy Hield scored a season-high 35 points to lead the Kings (5-7) to the home victory.
