The festive season in Georges River starts tonight with the Oatley West Christmas Markets.
Hosted by local businesses along Mulga Road in Oatley, the evening will feature photos with Santa, face painting, vintage fire truck rides and food tastings from local restaurants and cafes.
The markets will be held from 6pm to 9pm in the Mulga Road Shopping Precinct.
Hurstville Christmas Markets:
Hurstville Plaza will be the venue for four Christmas Markets over two weekends in December which will bring the community together in the Christmas spirit to enjoy delicious food, festive entertainment, crafts and family activities.
The markets will be held on the weekend of Saturday 14 December, Sunday 15 December and Saturday 21 December, Sunday 22 December from 10am to 6pm in Hurstville Plaza, Forest Road, Hurstville.
Carollers are organised for the Christmas Market on Sunday 15 December, from 11am to 2pm.

Georges River Council's Magic of Christmas will be held at Carss Bush Park this Sunday, December 1 from 3pm to 9pm at Carss Bush Park. Carwar Avenue, Carss Park.
The family-friendly event will include Christmas songs, a performance by popular entertainer Colin Buchanan is returning with his Aussie summer-themed festive tunes, and the day will feature a series of performances and market stalls.
Santa will be on hand to pose for free photos, and children can meet characters from Paw Patrol and Sesame Street.
The event will culminate with a fireworks spectacular over Kogarah Bay.
