1st Caringbah Brownie Guides and a 2nd Caringbah Cub Scout raised over $800 in three hours for the bushfire appeal.
1st Caringbah Brownie Guides with the help of a 2nd Caringbah Cub Scout held a bushfire appeal at Caringbah Shopping Village just before Christmas.
Their goal was to raise money selling handmade crafts, Christmas ornaments, cards and more.
"In just 3 hours, over $800 was raised, thanks to our local community`" 1st Caringbah Brownie Guides member Becky Cook said,.
"$574.35 was donated to the NSW Rural Fire Service and $300 was donated to WIRES.
"Many people assisted with this stall," Beck said.
"A huge thank you to everybody who so generously donated and to Caringbah Shopping Village for their support."
