The Georges River Council Local Planning Panel (LPP) has introduced a number of conditions for its future meetings due to the coronavirus.
Only parties registered to speak at the Georges River Local Planning Panel Meeting will be permitted to attend the meeting.
Those not registered to speak will not be permitted to attend.
To further reduce attendance by registered speakers, if a number of people wish to speak on a matter with similar issues, it is requested that a single person make comments on the matter on behalf of the group.
Meetings will be webcast as per normal practice and can be viewed via Council's website.
Any person who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (as per NSW Health Guidelines including fever, sore throat, running nose etc.) is not permitted to attend.
Any person who is required to self-isolate as per Australian Government and NSW Health Orders is not permitted to attend.
Social distancing guidelines of 1.5m separation between all persons in attendance will be implemented.
Speakers attending are not permitted to move furniture and are requested to not shake hands.
Those attending are requested to practice appropriate personal hygiene such as appropriately washing hands and covering their mouth and nose with tissue, sleeve or elbow when coughing or sneezing.
Georges River Council continues to monitor Australian Government and NSW Health Orders relating to COVID-19 to ensure that WHS obligations are met for staff and Panel members while also minimising risk to the community.
