The small waves on offer for Cronulla surfers this week will soon be at an end as a southerly moves up the coast hitting on Friday and bringing to an end the run of offshore's and small clean conditions.
This swell will peak with the onshore's blowing but don't despair because Sunday will dawn with a moderate Sou Wester cleaning things right up-the swell will still be around the 4-6 ft mark so for the start of the new week surfing conditions will be ideal.
This solid swell can only help the banks on the beach because at the moment there isn't one from Greenhill's to the Wall-this has forced everyone to surf at North Cronulla and it hasn't been pretty, from dawn to dusk its crowded so hopefully a bit of sand movement will be good for spreading the crowds.
