Bayside Council's draft Housing Strategy has been developed to plan and guide housing development until 2036.
Bayside Council has been actively planning for the future and has been undertaking extensive research and community engagement since 2018 as part of its Planning Our Future program.
This housing strategy is one of the many strategic documents produced to guide Bayside's development over the next 20 years.
The strategy aims to ensure our community is provided with greater housing choice and improved affordability.
The draft Housing Strategy considers:
. Demand
. Housing needs
. Opportunities and constraints
. Affordability
. Growth areas
The draft housing strategy is now available for public comment until Wednesday, October 14.
Residents are invited to join the conversation and provide feedback on the draft strategy.
