Oatley MP Mark Coure has signalled the addition of almost 250 weekly bus services to timetables across Route 942 and 945 services.
Mr Coure, said the new services would give customers more choice around when they travelled.
"We are adding 150 additional services each week on Route 942 from Lugarno to Campsie," he said.
This will comprise more services during off-peak and evening periods on weekdays, as well as during the day on Saturday. In fact, these customers will benefit from a bus every 30 minutes between Lugano, Riverwood and Roselands.
"More than 90 new weekly services will be created on Route 945 from Hurstville to Bankstown via Mortdale. There will be extra services early in the morning on weekdays and more services later in the evening throughout the week.
"We are also improving the frequency of services on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday so that you will see a bus every 30 minutes."
An extra 30 weekly services will also be added to Route 450 from Strathfield to Hurstville with more evening services seven days a week and more frequent buses on Saturday afternoons.
The new timetables will commence on October 25.
