The restaurant was due to open at Kogarah Town Centre tomorrow, Saturday, December 5.
But delays in the fit-out means that it will not be able to open as scheduled.
The opening is expected to create 30 new job opportunities for the local area.

Anil has over 10 years' experience at KFC across various restaurants, more recently coming from a Restaurant General Manager role at KFC Carlingford.

"Every restaurant nationally, including the new Kogarah restaurant, have pre-existing steps in place to help ensure the health and safety of our people and customers," Anil said.
"These measures include restaurant health and hygiene procedures; offering contactless transactions in our restaurants and cashless orders available via app and mobile.
"For all our restaurant teams, they are required to confirm they have checked their temperature and if they feel ok at the start of each shift."
The new KFC restaurant's design includes state-of-the-art digital menu boards and self-serve kiosks.
The restaurant will partner with all our delivery partners, Menulog, DoorDash and Deliveroo, providing home delivery for local residents.
