A woman faced court today after allegedly entering a home and stealing a car at Woolooware on the weekend..

Between 9.30pm on Saturday 12 December and 9am on Sunday 13 December, items including a handbag, credit cards and a car were stolen from a home in Woolooware Road, Woolooware while the female occupant was sleeping.
The incident was reported to police and officers from Sutherland Police Area Command commenced inquiries.
About 7.50am yesterday, a member of the public reported seeing the stolen Holden Captiva being driven in the Sutherland area.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 48-year-old woman on Acacia Road, Kirrawee and about 8am. The stolen vehicle was located by police nearby.
The woman was taken to Sutherland Police Station where she was charged with 26 offences including aggravated B&E commit serious indictable offence , take & drive conveyance w/o consent of owner, six counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, five counts of possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance, possess prohibited drug, seven counts of possess identity info to commit etc indictable offence, and five counts of possess identity info to commit etc indictable offence.
About 10am, investigators attended a property on Box Road, Jannali where they arrested a 38-year-old man.
He was also taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with 13 offences including aggravated B&E commit serious indictable offence, three counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, use vehicle on road or road related area m/v tax not paid, use uninsured motor vehicle, six counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, and receive property-theft=serious indictable offence =$5000.
Police will allege in court; the woman stole credit cards and the car before the pair allegedly committed multiple fraud offences in the Sutherland area on Sunday 13 December 2020.
They were refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
