Man charged over child abuse material
Sutherland Shire Police Local Area Command says a man has been arrested and charged with possess/disseminate child abuse material.
Sutherland Shire Police arrested a man, 30, in Sutherland yesterday after receiving information from the Australian Federal Police.
A search warrant was executed at his home and electronic equipment was seized.
An examination of the equipment revealed child abuse material.
He was charged with possess/disseminate child abuse material and was refused bail.
He was due to appear in Sutherland Local Court today.
