Sutherland Shire Police Area Command said police became aware that a man had sold property at a pawn shop in the area that was allegedly stolen .
An investigation commenced on March 19 which led to the arrest of a 43-year-old Rouse Hill man on Tuesday, March 23.
Police allege that man obtained property to the value of $75,000 from his employer before disposing of that property for financial gain.
He was charged with 56 offences, including larceny, making a false statement, disposing of stolen property and dishonestly obtain financial advantage.
He was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
