Are you retired or semi-retired, and enjoy learning while socialising?
The University of the Third Age (U3A) Endeavour Southern Region is hosting information mornings to introduce locals to the variety of courses they offer seniors, to coincide with Seniors Week.
There are over 30 courses at different venues around the Sutherland and St George regions, as well as talks on Zoom.
Topics are wide-ranging including Film Appreciation and Discussion, Book Banter, Brain Games, The Rise and Fall of Ancient Civilisations and Empires, Armchair Travellers, Middle Eastern Dancing, Italian Language and Culture, Drawing, Crime Readers Group, and more.
There are 600 members of the local U3A group and meetings are designed to teach new skills, while attendees have fun and make new friends.
Information sessions at Rockdale Library, 444-446 Princes Highway, Rockdale, will take place on Tuesday, April 13, Thursday, April 15, Monday, April 19 and Friday, April 23 from 9am until 12pm.
An information session at Jannali Uniting Church, 527 Box Road, Jannali, will take place on Wednesday, April 21, from 10am until 12pm.
