Sutherland Shire residents are being invited to have their say on the council's draft budget capital works program and other priorities for 2021-22.
Feedback can be provided from May 13 until June 10.
The council endorsed the Delivery Program 2017-22 and draft Operational Plan and Budget 2021/2022 at an extraordinary meeting on Monday night.

The proposed $76 million capital works program includes
- Continued construction of the $41 million Sutherland Entertainment Centre refurbishment.
- $2.7 million towards commence of improvement works to Seymour Shaw Park, Miranda.
- Improvements to the surface and lighting of Bellingara Netball Courts, Miranda.
- An enhanced and more inclusive playground at Cooper Street Reserve, Engadine.
- Upgrades to Sandy Point Boat Ramp.
- Improvements to amenities at Dunningham Park, Cronulla.
- Renewal works to ten local playgrounds and improvements to fitness facilities at five locations.
- More than $5 million towards sporting facility enhancements.
- More than $20 million towards footpaths, roadworks and traffic facilities.
- $1.5 million toward stormwater infrastructure.
- $1.4 million investment on new resources across eight libraries.
Mayor Steve Simpson, said while he was confident the proposed budget struck a strong balance between delivering good value to ratepayers while continuing to meet the needs of the community, it was important residents and business people were afforded the chance to provide their say on funding priorities for the next financial year.
"This budget has been drafted with the express wishes of our community firmly in mind, however we are still keen to hear from all interested local stakeholders who wish to have a say on how they think Council can best meet the needs of our community," he said.
"Ensuring that local ratepayers receive good value for money while we continue to deliver on an ambitious capital works program and continue to fund the services our community rely upon is tough at the best of times, let alone during the challenging economic environment brought on by the COVID pandemic.
"Council will always strive to ensure we are delivering the infrastructure and services our community needs in a fiscally responsible way, and we are committed to ensure that all members of the community are able to have their say on how best to achieve this."
