The six-storey home over four lots includes seven bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, six kitchens, three lifts, theatre, wine tasting room, gymnasium, two-lane bowling alley, music room, pool, archery range, 20-car space garage, boatshed and slipway and private beach.

Sutherland Shire's Sammut Developments built the house, named after the Nautilus seashell, for entrepreneur Steve Shelley, who founded the software start-up Deputy.

Highland Property Group managing director David Highland said the property was due to come on to the market in about two weeks with a price expectation above $50 million, based on replacement cost.

Despite its size, Mr Highland says the home is "warm and intimate, but bespoke in every way".

The property will be sold through an expressions of interest process.

In 2016, Allen Sammut said Nautilus was a four-way collaboration between architect Cameron Jones, the client Steve Shelley, interior designer Emma Buchan of EB Interiors, and Sammut Developments.

It was "so detailed and unique that it became a once-in-a-lifetime project" and was "the most unique, challenging and fun project that we have done".
