Australia's Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) has space for more startups to join its new innovation precinct, nandin, at Lucas Heights.
Professor Tim Boyle, Director, Innovation and Commercialisation and Founder of the nandin Innovation Centre, said nandin was in a "growth phase" and was taking applications for startups to join the centre.
"Nandin is the only deep technology innovation centre between the Sydney CBD and Wollongong and we really are looking to strengthen the innovation ecosystem within southern Sydney," Prof Boyle said.
"We have this fantastic new space and we'd like to invite more startups from the community to join us as we'll not only help our members grow and scale but also to do something alongside the ANSTO technologies.
"We are really looking at the membership drive as that next big activity and to help as many people as we can."
Created in 2018, nandin allows businesses to access entrepreneurial learning and collaboration through office space, hot desks and lab suites across fields such as cyber security, IoT, artificial intelligence and machine-based learning.
We have this fantastic new space and we'd like to invite more startups from the community to join us.

The centre for commercialisation, design innovation and entrepreneurship currently has 27 startups using its facilities, including Affirmer, which makes microlearning technology for safety and compliance.
It allows users - for example in the health industry - to access training and safety information at the point of use, in a non-intrusive, engaging and convenient way.
Affirmer Founder, Matt Lynch, said: "We're bringing a technical solution to workplace training, to make a difference during Covid-19. We're in a growth phase, we're meeting clients and building products, and it's a really exciting time."
Mr Lynch said he "couldn't speak highly enough" of his time at nandin.
"Everyone, even if they're not involved in the innovation centre, is happy to help you at ANSTO, it's a really good community," said the Caringbah local.
"It's really opened my eyes to how much support you can get from a startup community and also from ANSTO.
"We're lucky because we're a safety product and ANSTO is a safety site. We have a lot of people to talk to, to help refine our product."
