Bus services between Jannali, Kareela and Miranda are among the latest high-level COVID alerts and passengers on several train services from Sutherland Shire to the City could also have been infected.
NSW Health advised anyone anyone who travelled on the following bus routes at the times listed is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health:
- Jannali to Kareela, route 968 Bus, Tuesday 6 July, departed 2.32pm - arrived 2.39pm.
- Miranda to Kareela, route 968, Wednesday 7 July, departed 12.35pm - arrived 12.54pm.
Anyone who travelled on the following train routes at the listed times is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received. Please continue to monitor for symptoms and immediately isolate and get tested if they develop:
- T4 Line: Bondi Junction to Central, Tuesday 6 July, departed 9.08am, arrived 9.28am.
- T4 Line: Hurstville to Jannali, Tuesday 6 July, departed 2.06pm, arrived 2.18pm.
- T4 Line: Penshurst to Hurstville, Tuesday 6 July, departed 10.21pm, arrived 10.34pm.
- T4 Line: Hurstville to Miranda, Tuesday 6 July, departed 11.49am, arrived 12.17pm.
- T8 Line: Kingsgrove to Circular Quay, Monday 5 July, departed 5.43am, arrived 6.04am.
- T8 Line: Circular Quay to Kingsgrove, Monday 5 July, departed 3.07pm, arrived 3.36pm.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health:
- Roselands: Roselands Fruit World, Wednesday 7 July, 4pm - 4.15pm.
- Roselands: Mrs Fields. Additional times. Thursday 1 July, 10.30am - 10.45am; Saturday 3 July, 7am - 7.10am; Monday 5 July 10.30am - 10.40am.
