Teddy bears in windows gave both children and adults a big lift during the first COVID lockdown last year.
Where are they now when we need them more than ever?
A rare sighting was a giant teddy sitting at an outdoor table at Kurnell on Tuesday this week.
Leader photographer Chris Lane spotted the loveable symbol of hope seemingly enjoying the sun and the views over Botany Bay from near the Silver Beach pathway.
Chris was told a resident put the teddy out for the enjoyment of passing children.
