There have been no new cases linked to the St George Hospital oncology ward COVID-19 cluster that has claimed two lives.

A spokeswoman for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) responding to questions from the Leader today said "no additional cases have been linked to the oncology ward at St George Hospital".
"Figures remain at six inpatients and two staff members," she said.
A 71-year-old man was the second death linked to the oncology ward at St George Hospital. His death was announced on Sunday, August 22.
NSW Health said the man from south-east Sydney died at St George Hospital, where he acquired his infection.
"The first death linked to the oncology ward at St George Hospital was a 78-year-old male," a SESLHD spokeswoman said.
"Both men had received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine."
A cancer patient was the first to develop symptoms and test positive.
The SESLHD spokeswoman said the first patient tested positive in the oncology ward on Saturday, August 14.
Two staff members, a nurse unit manager and a junior medical officer, later tested positive. Both were fully vaccinated.
Of the six patients who tested positive, three had received one dose of the vaccine and three had not been vaccinated.
The cluster led to 80 of the hospital's healthcare staff being placed into 14 days' quarantine .
All 21 patients on the ward were tested and placed in isolation and the ward was closed to new admissions.
