Anti-lockdown protestors gathered outside Sutherland Shire Council this morning.
The gathering was one of a number of similar protests held today across NSW, Queensland and Melbourne today.
A similar protest took place at Rockdale, while one of the largest gatherings took place at Fairfield.
It appears about 50 people were gathered outside Sutherland Shire Council customers service centre, which also houses the council chambers, at 4 Eton Street, Sutherland. The majority of those gathered were not wearing masks.
A number of police were also present.
A message calling on people to take part in the protests has been seen on social media.
It states: "Anzac, on some level you know the time to stand has come. No signs, no speeches, no noise".
"We front up, we stand up, we deal to [sic] it. Enough is enough!"
It told people to gather at 9am today outside every local council chamber, every state Parliament House, the home of every state governor, Federal Parliament and the home of the Governor-General".
The Leader has asked NSW Police to comment on the Sutherland protest, and others in the area, details of any arrests made or fines issued for failing to wear a mask.
