Gymea and Engadine postcodes have joined the Oyster Bay area in reaching the 80 per cent vaccination mark.
The Oyster Bay area (postcode 2225), which reached the first jab level a week ago, has gone one better, with more than half the adult population now being fully vaccinated.
COVID cases in Sutherland Shire have risen to 91 - an increase of 60 in a month.
NSW Health vaccination figures by postcode up till August 30:
- 2224 (Sylvania / Southgate / Kangaroo Pt): Received first dose 60-69%; fully vaccinated 30-39%.
- 2225 (Caravan Head /Oyster Bay): Received first dose 80-89%; fully vaccinated 50-59%.
- 2226 (Bonnet Bay / Como / Jannali): Received first dose 70-79%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
- 2227 (Gymea area): Received first dose 80-89%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
- 2228 (Miranda area): Received first dose 70-79%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
- 2229 (Caringbah area): Received first dose 70-79%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
- 2230 (Cronulla / Bundeena): Received first dose 70-79%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
- 2231 (Kurnell): Received first dose 60-69%; fully vaccinated 30-39%.
- 2232 (Kareela / Sutherland / Woronora / Loftus): Received first dose 70-79%; fully vaccinated 40-49%.
