Construction has commenced on a new premium waterfront addition to Anglicare's retirement village in Taren Point.
The Waterfront at Anglicare's Woolooware Retirement Village will include 63 waterfront apartments across two buildings with open plan layouts, space for entertaining and water views.
Dean Cotter, Anglicare Development Manager, said: "Jackson Teece Architects were tasked with designing luxurious home-style apartments with spacious open plan layouts spilling onto large external balconies, that complimented the surrounding environment."
Integrated community spaces, landscaping and a cafe will add to the appeal.
Residents will also have access to the Woolooware Shores Retirement Village facilities which include a theatre, salon, gym, pool, spa, cafe, library, chapel and restaurants.
Colin Rahim, Joint CEO and Director of building partner Growthbuilt, said his organisation was "committed to growing our 5-year-strong partnership" with Anglicare.
Woolooware Shores is already home to 243 residents and has a residential aged care facility on site.
The new The Waterfront development is set to be completed in 2023.
