
More than 85 per cent of Sutherland Shire's 187,018 eligible residents have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with more than half fully vaccinated.
The latest Map of NSW vaccinations by home postcode and LGA on the NSW Health website today, which has data for September 12, shows 55.6 per cent of those eligible are also now fully vaccinated.
A growing number of postcodes in the shire continue to lead the way, having achieved the highest vaccination rate possible - more than 90 per cent.
They are the 2225, 2226, 2227, 2233 and 2234 postcodes.
All other postcodes in the shire have achieved a first dose vaccination rate of 80-89 per cent.
Many postcodes have also got double-dose vaccination rates of 60-69 per cent. These include 2229, 2225, 2226, 2227, 2233 and 2234.
All other postcodes have achieved 50-59 per cent full vaccination.

- 2224 (Sylvania, Southgate, Kangaroo Point): 80-89 per cent first dose, 50-59 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2225 (Caravan Head, Oyster Bay):90+ per cent first dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2233 (Engadine, Heathcote, Waterfall): 90+ per cent first dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2234 (Menai area): 90+ per cent first dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2226 (Bonnet Bay / Como / Jannali): 90+ per cent first dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2227 (Gymea area): 90+ per cent first dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2230 (Cronulla, Bundeena): 80-89 per cent fully vaccinated, 50-59 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2231 (Kurnell): 80-89 per cent first dose, 50-59 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2232 (Kareela, Sutherland, Woronora, Loftus): 80-89 per cent first dose, 50-59 per cent fully vaccinated.
- 2228 (Miranda area): 80-89 per cent first dose, 50-59 per cent fully vaccinated.
