Sutherland Shire is in a good place with lockdown about to end, with 93.8 per cent of the adult population having had at least their first COVID vaccination.
A massive 77.9 per cent of 187,018 eligible residents are fully vaccinated, the latest NSW Health data reveals.
Active cases numbers are also encouraging, dropping to 62.
The only postcode area yet to reach 90 per cent single dose vaccination is 2224, which includes Sylvania, Southgate and Kangaroo Point.
NSW Health vaccination figures by postcode up till October 7:
- 2224 (Sylvania / Southgate / Kangaroo Pt): Received first dose 80-89%; fully vaccinated 60-69%.
- 2225 (Caravan Head /Oyster Bay): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 80-89%.
- 2226 (Bonnet Bay / Como / Jannali): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2227 (Gymea area): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2228 (Miranda area): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2229 (Caringbah area): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2230 (Cronulla / Bundeena): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2231 (Kurnell): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 60-69%.
- 2232 (Kareela / Sutherland / Woronora / Loftus): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 70-79%.
- 2233 (Engadine / Heathcote / Waterfall): Received first dose 90%+; fully vaccinated 80-89%.
