Mesa, a new community in southern Sydney, is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, November 6 from 9am-4pm.

The $310 million project by Aoyuan International has four multistorey buildings (with 258 apartments) around a "green heart" - a 1500 square-metre central park that will also serve as a public green link.

Designed by Urbis, the park has a playground, amphitheatre, meditation grove and tai chi square.

Mesa has been master-planned for good health, lush greenery and to make the most of the stunning views to the city and Botany Bay.

Each of the four residential buildings has a distinctive height and style, with a mixture of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments.

The sleek, light-filled and luxurious interiors have 2.7-metre ceilings and full-length windows. The apartments flow to balconies and winter gardens.

Residents of Mesa will be welcomed by a host of amenities including communal vegetable gardens, a hawker-style snack street, restaurants and an onsite supermarket.

Allawah and Hurstville train stations are both within walking distance and there are great school catchments with Hurstville (OC) Public just around the corner. It's also easy to get to the M5 freeway.
